This year’s Academy of Management in Copenhagen will host the Panel Symposium on “Managing Data and Organizing Platform Ecosystems for Sustainable Development”. Organized by Luigi Mosca (Imperial Business School & University of Sydney) and Gianluigi Viscusi (Linköping University, Sweden), this session brings together leading scholars to explore the opportunities, risks, and transformative potential of digital data and platform ecosystems. In particular, the panel will examine how organizations design, manage, and govern platform-based ecosystems to navigate the complexity of digital transformation in business and society.
Sponsored by the TIM, CTO, and STR divisions as well as supported by the PISTIS project (EU Grant No. 101093016) and the research program "Resistance and effect – on smart grids for the many people" funded by Kamprad Family Foundation (FKS), Sweden, this symposium welcomes all AOM 2025 attendees interested in digital innovation, data governance, ecosystem strategy, and the future of sustainable development.
